From April 17th to 21st, the traditional COMVAC trade fair took place in Hannover, Germany. It is the largest trade fair in the field of compressors and compressed air, technical gases, and vacuum technologies. The company SCR presented numerous new technologies currently introduced to the European market, as well as technological innovations that will be commercially available to customers next year, together with its sister company ANEST IWATA, at a joint booth.
Among the main exhibits at the SCR/IWATA booth was the new generation of SCR-APM screw compressors, with power input up to 75 kW and equipped with a completely new control system. This series is expected to replace the SCR-PM compressor range. Additionally, the SCR-XA spiral compressors were introduced, and their sales will officially commence in the Czech Republic this summer.
The main theme of the entire COMVAC trade fair was energy savings. SCR contributes to this topic through the development of state-of-the-art systems in the low-pressure and vacuum areas. They officially presented the SCR-CB/CH turbo blowers equipped with magnetic bearings and permanent magnet motors. This system represents the most advanced low-pressure air production system, covering a power input range from 50 to 500 kW and an output pressure range from 50 kPa to 4 bar. The SCR-CB/CH turbo blowers are expected to be available in the SCR product line-up for the European market next year.
Another interesting addition to the SCR portfolio is the SCR-VSPM screw vacuum pumps, capable of achieving an extremely low level of pressure up to 0.5 mbar, and they will be supplied with motor power input ranging from 11 to 90 kW. The SCR-VSPM pumps incorporate the latest technology concepts: permanent magnet motors, a new generation of screw blocks, advanced electronic control, and smooth speed regulation through a cutting-edge vector frequency converter. The SCR-VSPM screw vacuum pumps will be available on the Czech market by the end of this year.
All these innovations contribute to the overall motto of the trade fair, focusing on energy savings and an ecological concept.
